Terms of Service

Article 1 (Application of These Terms)

These Terms set forth the conditions for using Atelier mimi (the "Service"), operated by the operator of Atelier mimi (the "Operator"). Anyone who uses the Service (a "User") is deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 2 (Scope of the Service)

The Service provides an AI customer support widget that Users can embed in their own apps or websites. By training mimi (the AI) on information such as FAQs, Users can offer automated responses to questions from their visitors.

Users can sign up for an account and use basic features free of charge. Paid features may be introduced in the future.

Article 3 (Account Registration)

The Service uses email-based sign-up (Magic Link authentication). Users must provide accurate information and must not share their sign-in links with third parties.

The Operator is not liable for any damages arising from unauthorized use of an account.

Article 4 (User Content)

All rights to the knowledge data, links, images, profile text, and other content that Users register with the Service ("User Content") belong to the User.

Users are solely responsible for the content of their User Content. Users must not register content that infringes the rights of third parties, that is false, or that is unlawful.

The Operator may use User Content for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. However, the Operator will not disclose any individual User's content to other Users (except for landing pages that have been set to public).

Article 5 (Prohibited Activities)

Users must not:

• Engage in any act that violates laws, regulations, or public order and morals
• Infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, likeness, or any other rights of third parties
• Make false representations, impersonate others, send spam, or engage in phishing
• Interfere with the operation of the Service (e.g., excessive requests, unauthorized access)
• Use the Service to distribute harmful content such as illegal drugs, sexual exploitation, violence, or hate speech
• Engage in any other act that the Operator deems inappropriate

Article 6 (Nature of AI Responses)

Responses from mimi (the AI) are generated based on the knowledge data registered by the User and the general capabilities of the underlying AI model. The Operator makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any response.

For important decisions or legal, medical, or similar judgments, please do not rely on mimi's responses alone; always consult a qualified professional or the User behind the assistant.

Article 7 (Suspension and Restriction of the Service)

If a User violates these Terms, the Operator may suspend the account, release the handle, delete data, or take other measures without prior notice.

The Operator may also temporarily suspend the Service without notice for system maintenance, emergencies, or similar reasons.

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

The Operator is not liable for any damages incurred by Users or third parties in connection with the Service, including direct damages, indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss.

The foregoing does not apply in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Operator.

Article 9 (Changes to These Terms)

The Operator may revise these Terms from time to time. Revised Terms take effect when posted on this page. For material changes, the Operator may notify Users at their registered email address.

Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising in connection with the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Operator's location as the court of first instance.
